TIMES BANDUNG, JAKARTA – The Indonesian Student Law School PPI Dunia 2024 has captured the attention of over 200-300 participants in each session. The event, held over two days from April 27th to 28th, 2024, signifies the strong commitment of Indonesian students abroad to contribute their thoughts and skills to the future of law and social dynamics in Indonesia.

The event kicked off with a General Stadium session featuring Kombes. Pol. Shinto Bina Gunawan Silitonga, S.I.K., M.Si., Police Attaché at the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin, Germany, who provided insights into "Ferreien Job" (seasonal jobs) at the beginning of the event. Shinto raised awareness about the issues facing our fellow students in Germany.

Under the theme "Nurturing Indonesia: Indonesian Students' Contribution to Addressing Legal Challenges and Social Dynamics," the agenda included three classes focusing on constitution, advocacy, and legalization. Each class offered participants the opportunity to delve into various aspects of the law and engage in direct discussions with experts in the field.

Constitution Class

Led by experienced speakers in constitutional law, including Pan Mohamad Faiz, SH., M.C.L., Ph.D., and Muhammad Saleh, S.H., M.H., this class examined Constitutional Law and State Law along with its History and Dynamics. Participants were invited to understand the development of constitutional law in Indonesia and worldwide, as well as to analyze political and social changes affecting the constitutional system.

Advocacy Class

In this class, participants gained insights into international law and ethics in the digital era, as well as effective advocacy strategies in response to global challenges. Dr. Muchamad Ali Safa'at, S.H., M.H., and Dr. (Can) Wiend Sakti Myharto, S.H., LL.M, led discussions and case studies on protecting the rights of Indonesian students abroad and implementing legal policies within organizations.

Legalization Class

Participants in this class gained a deep understanding of the process of drafting MoUs and cooperation agreements, as well as the role of legalization in organizational structures. Dendi Adisuryo, S.H., and Dr. Muhammad Reza Syariffudin Zaki, S.H., M.A., AWP, ClQnR, provided practical guidance and case studies to help participants understand essential concepts in legalization.

The event not only provided a platform to deepen legal knowledge but also encouraged collaboration and idea exchange among Indonesian students worldwide.
